An unexpected task out of the connected device assignment is to be able to communicate the device uses & how to use it to an audience. Is it going to be a class (which most of the audience may have some assumptions of the product) or is it going to be an ITP Spring Show (which audience really varies from little kids to professors, and none of them probably know what the device is up to.)
Created a MagicSuite site that will be a representative of our product suite, with its headliner being the MagicWand and a secondary product: LilCam. The site adapts from tech product website essentials: a hero banner, use cases, features, shopping cart.
Generated a few marketing post with RunwayAI:

Wrote an instruction piece for the MagicWand and LilCam, inspired by the folded instruction paper that comes with a device.

Submitted MagicWand as part of the ITP Spring Show 2026 with the following diagram as initial proposal:

Hoping for it to be in Sony Audio Institute Audio Lab but due to capacity demand we were requested to downsize the project. Changed to the following:

Ended up improvising by taking the empty wall spot wedged between design lab and classroom. This spot is perfect as there are a lot of traffic, the canvas is huge, and there is roomy space to dance and move.
Thanks to Niki Hu for dancing and demonstrating the MagicWand's magic!
The next day after the ITP Spring Show is my birthday. It is also ITP Prom at Rubulad. Going on the magical momentum and being an opportunist myself, I of course have to bring the MagicWand to the party.
Very exciting reception by people. A lot of dancing with RaFia's music, gucc1one's DJ set, etc.
Thanks to Shloka who snapped some experiments as we try to create light painting with the MagicWand. An unintentional use case for it.

Thanks to Nujum who got everyone to hold the MagicWand and strike a pose!

Semester ends. Though thankfully I still have access to SAI Audio Lab (because I work there). Being an opportunist (again), I use this time to record my ideal scenario for the MagicWand -- with immersive screen setup (270deg)!
